Both Astro D and I wanted to visit friends there before heading south to the Austin area. The drive was pretty uneventful and a little long. Astro D and I did a lot of talking and learned a little more about each other. We stopped to find three letterboxes along the way (two of them were ones that I had already found). So Astro D logged three new finds and I logged one. The one that both Astro D and I found was Jackalope by stargazer - and I must say this was an incredible carving - thanks stargazer. We arrived in Dallas a little before 8pm. Astro D dropped me off at my friend's house and then headed off to her friend's house. Eddie and I talked and had dinner and just relaxed. Tomorrow Astro D and I head for Waco and then Austin. Hopefully this T.A.L.E. will get a little more interesting.

The Journey Begins
Early this morning Astro D and I set out for the 5th Texas Annual Letterboxing Event in Bastrop, TX. Our destination for today was Dallas.
