Ready For the Trip!

All the bags are packed and Thomas and I are ready to go. We have been planning this trip for over a year now and these last few days have been very busy getting last minute things done. We are both so excited about this trip and Thomas really needs a get away (his work has been so stressful lately). So tonight we just relax and rest so that we can endure a full day of flying tomorrow. I really dread flying these days but I will try to just go with the flow and make the best of it. We leave Albuquerque at 11:00am and get to Fairbanks at around 9:30pm. They are two hours behind us so that means we will be in airports and planes for approximately 12 hours, not too bad but I can think of lots of things I would rather be doing.

Since neither of us have been to Alaska before this will be a totally new experience for us and hopefully we will be able to make it a trip to remember. I will make a post each day so that I can keep a good handle on what we do. I would rather make a post each day instead of trying to cram two or three days worth of activities into one post. This way I will have a great journal of our entire trip. So let the adventure begin.
